Drive Belts should be checked every oil change

The Serpentine Belts on most vehicle runs the Power Steering Pump, Alternator, and A\C compressor (if equip) every time the vehicle is on its consistently running. On some vehicles the water pump is also ran by the belts.  Since the belt is rubber its consider a wear and tear part.   If this belt breaks it may give issues to the engine, such as overheating, battery light on and not charging the battery, a\c not working, steering wheel gets hard, etc.  Another sign that the belt is worn\dry\cracked could be the belts squealing or screeching.   If your due for an oil change bring it today at West Highlands Auto Repair for conventional oil up to 5 quarts  5440 W 29th Ave – 80214.  Our Number is (303)433-9233 or visit us online at www.westhighlandsauto.com
